Carl Zeiss Sports Optics Unveils Its Groundbreaking VICTORY HT Line of Binoculars and Riflescopes at the 2012 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits

Zeiss also Hosts Special Guests – Hunting Personality Larry Weishuhn and Country Music Star Sean Patrick McGraw

CHESTER, Va., April 11, 2012 – Carl Zeiss Sports Optics unveils its groundbreaking VICTORY HT line of binoculars and riflescopes at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in St. Louis this week. The highly anticipated VICTORY HT is the brightest super-premium binocular in the world, and the super-bright VICTORY HT riflescopes feature the world’s finest illuminated dot. The countdown officially begins in St. Louis as the days are marked until August 15 when the VICTORY HT line will be available at authorized ZEISS dealers throughout the United States.

NRA members will also have an opportunity to see many other new ZEISS optics for the very first time. Recently introduced at the 2012 SHOT Show, the CONQUEST HD binoculars, CONQUEST Duralyt riflescopes and CONQUEST Superformance riflescopes with Rapid-Z will all be on display in St. Louis.

There are many additional fun things in store for consumers who stop by the ZEISS booth #1111. Free giveaways such as lens care kits, hats and binoculars. Yes, free binoculars – of the gummy variety – and other surprises as well.

Legendary hunter and TV personality Larry Weishuhn will make special appearances in the ZEISS booth from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day, and country music star Sean Patrick McGraw will be on hand from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday to sign autographs and CDs. McGraw, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, has toured with country music greats Toby Keith and Trace Adkins and, as opening act, has shared the stage with stars such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert. McGraw will perform in the ZEISS Booth at 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

For NRA members on a mission to buy, Zeiss is offering special discounts on optics sold through an authorized retailer in the ZEISS booth during the show. The legendary ZEISS Conquest 3-9×40 riflescope with reticle # 20 will be available for only $399 and show attendees will also receive 10% off all other ZEISS products, except for the Victory RF and Victory FL 42mm binoculars. Zeiss already has a national consumer rebate promotion for the Victory RF binoculars ($300 rebate) and Victory FL 42mm binoculars ($200 rebate). NRA members who purchase a Victory RF or Victory FL 42mm binocular at the NRA show will instantly receive the rebate. No worries, no wait.

And attendees should check out the new ZEISS Gear Store. Stop by the ZEISS booth, mention the Gear Store offer and receive your NRA member discount voucher for your purchase at www.ZEISSGEAR.com.
