TenPoint Turbo XLT II™ Wins Field & Stream’s “Best of the Best” Award

Mogadore, OH. – Field and Stream magazine has selected TenPoint Crossbow Technologies’ new Turbo XLT II as the winner of their 2012 “Best of the Best Award” in the crossbow category. This is the second straight year TenPoint has received the award. Field and Stream’s “Best of the Best” designations are awarded to new hunting and fishing equipment they select as the top performing and most innovative of the year.

According to Field & Stream magazine, “Three critical factors shot the Turbo XLT II to the winner’s circle. First, the bow was incredibly accurate. Second, it was safe to operate due to an intuitive ambidextrous safety and anti- dry-fire device. Third, the innovative ACUdraw cocking rope (which retracts into the stock, the handles secured by a slick magnet system) was a joy to operate and nearly silent, proof that this is a crossbow for hunters”.

The Turbo XLT II differs from its predecessor in several ways. While it still features a radically compact bow assembly, spanning 13.5-inches from axle-to-axle when cocked, its 11-inch IsoTaper Limbs™ are now double- laminated for improved strength and durability. The bow assembly, fitted with D-75 string and yoked tunable cables powered by NEW MRX™ cams, is mounted on a 7/8″ longer barrel that increases the power stroke to 12.875-inches. This new combination produces a sleek and maneuverable 180-pound crossbow that shoots 345 fps with TenPoint’s NEW Pro Lite™ carbon arrow.

“We are honored that Field & Stream has chosen one of our models for this prestigious award again this year. It’s in our DNA to push our technology and design to higher levels of performance while staying focused on maintaining the highest possible quality,” said TenPoint CEO, Rick Bednar.

The Turbo XLT II comes standard with TenPoint’s 3x Pro-View 2™ Scope and, like all TenPoint crossbows, it features their patented DFI™ (dry-fire-inhibitor) and 3.5-pound PowerTouch™ trigger. Available with or without one of TenPoint’s two patented cocking units, the ACUdraw™ or ACUdraw 50™, the Turbo XLT II is decorated in Realtree APG®.

MAP: $999 with ACUdraw, $899 with ACUdraw 50.

All TenPoint crossbows are USA Owned, Operated, and Manufactured in Mogadore, OH.
