Bob Crisman Reviews the Trijicon Accupoint for Webyshops.com

“In my honest opinion, for the price of $765.00 I could not find a better riflescope. I would even state it performs as good as any scope I’ve used at twice its price. I am very pleased with this scope and its performance. If you are looking for an optic with exceptional clarity and the benefit of having a dual illuminated reticle; look no further than the Trijicon AccuPoint (TR20-1G). ” – Bob Crisman

Wixom, MI – Trijicon Night Sights™ have served as the industry benchmark for more than two decades. Highly effective at close quarters, Trijicon Night Sights are standard issue with hundreds of municipal and county police and sheriff’s departments, numerous state police departments and federal law enforcement agencies. In addition, they’re the first choice of major handgun manufacturers, and are widely used in military applications and for personal defense. Trijicon has expanded its selection to cover even more popular handgun models and has introduced its first line of “suppressor compatible” and RMR co-witness Night Sights for Glock Pistols.

Trijicon HD™ Night Sights
Following a tremendously successful launch in 2011, Trijicon continues to build upon its comprehensive line of HD Night Sights. New for 2013, Trijicon HD Night Sights are now available for the popular Ruger® SR9 and Beretta Px4, 90-TWO and 92/96A1 model pistols.

HD Night Sights are designed to excel under the most demanding conditions by placing primary emphasis on faster front sight acquisition. This new design incorporates enhanced front sight visibility with a de-emphasized rear sight. Upfront, a tritium lamp lies within an extra-large, brightly colored (yellow or orange) dot area that provides a distinctive sighting picture. In addition, special photo luminescent (glow-in-the-dark) powder in the paint aids in faster front sight acquisition during transitional lighting operations.

New Suppressor and RMR Compatible Bright and Tough™ Night Sights
Trijicon has introduced a completely new line of “taller” Bright and Tough Night Sights designed specifically for Glock handguns fitted with suppressors and to serve as co-witness iron sights for the growing number of shooters utilizing the Trijicon RMR with machined slides. The new offerings are available in multiple Front/Rear configurations for a variety of applications.

Trijicon® Adds Nickel Boron Plating to Select ACOG® and RMR™ Models for 2013

Wixom, MI — Trijicon products are world-renowned for their ruggedness and absolute reliability. After all, our Nation’s warfighters have depended on them for nearly 20 years.

New for 2013, Trijicon has added Nickel Boron plating to select ACOG and RMR models. This exceptionally durable plating process provides a distinctive new look and serves as the ultimate in abrasion resistance with protection from extreme use and harsh conditions.

The Trijicon ACOG is a compact telescopic sight with a tritium-illuminated reticle for use in low light or at night. It also utilizes the Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) by way of a bright daytime reticle that uses advanced fiber optics to collect ambient light. In this way, ACOG combines precise, distant marksmanship with close-in aiming speed. Every feature of its mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions.

The Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) is highly regarded for its ability to provide fast, both-eyes-open target acquisition and accurate aiming with any style or caliber of weapon. Perfectly suited for combat, personal protection, competition or hunting, the RMR has quickly become the choice of experienced shooters who demand superior performance from reflex-style sights.

Trijicon Releases New Updated AccuPin Bow Sight

Wixom, MI – In 2011, Trijicon brought its Brilliant Aiming Solutions™ to the archery market with the introduction of the most advanced aiming system available. The Trijicon AccuPin was a breakthrough in bow sight design and engineering and quickly gained tremendous respect from many of the nation’s top bowhunters and target archers. Always committed to excellence, Trijicon has updated the AccuPin with several new design enhancements.

At Trijicon, customer feedback is taken seriously. For 2012, the AccuPin has been upgraded with a new larger, highly-visible sight level. The sight level is easily seen at full draw and exhibits the same extreme durability and accuracy as found in the original AccuPin. Trijicon has also increased the size and added a nylon patch to all set screws for even more security, easier adjustment, and less likelihood of losing one.

Designed by bowhunters and target archers, the AccuPin bow sight is engineered to deliver a level of quality and performance previously unknown to archers. The heart of the innovative design lies in its triangular aiming point and clear pin. With zero MOA and zero obstructions, this one-of-a-kind configuration has an aiming tip that actually points to your target instead of obscuring it. This entirely new perspective gives archers a new level of confidence by providing increased visibility, accuracy and dependability, all resulting in precision shot placement.

For the ultimate in visibility and aiming speed, the AccuPin incorporates the acclaimed Trijicon dual-illumination/battery-free system. With a combination of fiber optics and tritium that were pioneered and perfected in their world-class riflescopes, the AccuPin aiming point is always highly visible. In fact, the AccuPin features the brightest fiber optics currently available! Whether it’s in the dark shade of the deep woods or the glaring sunrise of a damp meadow, the high contrast aiming point lets you acquire targets with speed and complete confidence.

Having designed advanced aiming systems for more than two decades, Trijicon knows that a precision sight demands a precision mount. That’s why Trijicon developed the Trijicon AccuDial™ featuring BowSync™ technology. With an infinitely variable transmission, it enables exact range adjustment and synchronization for any bow-arrow combination. Its laser etched dial makes field adjustments fast and easy-without having to rely on a clumsy strip of tape.

Built using only the finest materials, finishes and components, the AccuPin was engineered for real world durability. In an independent study, the AccuPin was subjected to 10 years of simulated daily field use and came out in perfect working order. If that doesn’t prove how tough it is, just consider this: The Trijicon AccuPin is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Together, the AccuPin and AccuDial form a refined system that stands as a benchmark for sight and mount integration.

Webyshops Witnesses a Winning 2011

ARLINGTON, TX, February 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ — 2011 Witnessed Webyshops.com having a record setting year. While every company works to improve sales each year, Webyshops.com saw their formula of outstanding customer service, quick shipping, wide selection of quality products, knowledgeable associates and low prices push their sales to quadruple 2010′s sales. This sales growth even surpassed anticipated forecast by twenty percent. Webyshops doesn’t anticipate the records to stop with the 2011 year, they are trending to double sales again in 2012.

“2011 was a pivotal year for us. We had to prove to our vendors that we knew what we were talking about when we asked them for support in terms of financing and inventory. We also had to prove to our customers that we could deliver the level of service they expect from the likes of Zappos and Amazon. We even joked internally, that we ARE the Zappos of the outdoor industry. In the end, it was through patronage of our customers, support of our vendors and relentless dedication to each and every customer by our small, but committed crew that we were able to exceed all the goals we set for ourselves in spite of tough economic and retail conditions. We look forward to another great year in 2012, as we build upon the projects that were launched last year,” states Mikhail Orlov, Webyshops.com.

Sales weren’t the only thing that showed tremendous growth. The Webyshops.com team also grew to double its original size. The team growth hasn’t stopped yet. In order to keep up with the sales growth, staff will also increase at least twenty-five percent in 2012. Another key factor of Webyshops success is the positive encouragement for both professional and personal growth.

Customer Service Quarterback, Renee affirms this stating, “I especially like working with the customers and my coworkers. I find selling scopes both interesting and challenging. I, also, like the way we can grow with the company. Starting from the ground up is a good feeling.”

Kerri, Webyshops’ Warehouse Warrior affirms Renee”s statement “I started here about 4 months ago, didn’t have a clue about the business the patience of the people that work here is phenomenal.” She went on to say, “The warehouse has blown up with inventory over the last month business is good.”

The unexpected but welcomed growth saw the warehouse and offices reach beyond capacity. So much so, Webyshops.com is already scouting for a new location and anticipating a move during the first quarter of 2012.

Trijicon Unveils New SRS Reflex Sight

Wixom, MI – The profile length of the new Trijicon SRS™ is short and the advanced list of features is long, as the innovative products continue from Trijicon. The new Trijicon SRS (Sealed Reflex Sight) is a reflex-type sight with a unique optical design, housed in a body length of only 3.75 inches that virtually eliminates the “tube-effect” common with other, competitive red dot sights. The result – a field of view that essentially provides no obstruction to shooters. That means lightning fast target engagements at CQB distances with no distraction from the shooter’s situational awareness. The SRS is ideal for military, law enforcement and recreational applications on a variety of firearm platforms from AR’s to shotguns.

Equally impressive is the technology built into powering the LED lighted 1.75 MOA aiming point that includes ten brightness settings – including three NVG settings. The SRS is powered by a solar panel and a single, common AA battery. This uniquely patented configuration allows the user years of illumination life from a single battery by offering an intuitive “solar assist”, that is, drawing on battery power only when the solar cell requires additional energy support for illumination based on ambient conditions.

The Trijicon SRS™ is built to endure the rigors of extreme in-the-field use and carries the same stringent testing requirements as the renowned Trijicon ACOG® line of sighting systems. Additional features include a parallax-free objective lens, an auto-locking, self-adjusting level mount and waterproof-tested performance to fifty meters.

The new Trijicon SRS™ will be available at retail in February 2012.

Trijicon Goes Long-Range With TARS Riflescope

Wixom, MI – A brilliant solution for the precision target shooter, professional operator or long-range hunter, Trijicon introduces its TARS™ High-Performance RifleScope.

The Trijicon TARS (Tactical Advanced RifleScope) is a 3-15x variable magnification, 50 mm-objective, illuminated-reticle optic designed for tactical and sporting rifles. Premium-grade optics, exact adjustments, and innovative reticle systems allow users to engage targets at extreme ranges.

Best-quality glass is fully multi-coated to allow maximum light transmission. Optical engineering advancement produces a generous 3.3 inches of constant eye relief while decreasing overall scope length to 13.9 inches. Its 3x to 15x magnification range make it a viable choice for myriad applications, from LE and military operations to benchrest competition to varmint and big-game hunting.

The TARS features a patented illuminated-reticle system with 10 levels of intensity, including two for use with night-vision optics. Its non-forward emitting LED is much more efficient than current systems; One CR2032 battery provides 30,000 hours of use. Four reticle choices are available-an intuitive MOA reticle (Model 101), Trijicon-exclusive JW mil-square reticle (103) and two duplex versions (102 and 104). All are located in the first focal plane, so subtension values remain constant across the magnification range.

A robust, 34 mm main tube machined from aircraft-grade aluminum combined with Trijicon’s mil-spec construction ensure TARS can handle severe recoil in the harshest environments. It is waterproof to 66 feet. Hydrophobic coatings on exposed lenses ensure clarity in wet conditions. Finger-adjustable turrets feature patent-pending lockable, tactile click adjustments for positive tracking and repeatability. A side-mounted parallax dial focuses from 10-feet to infinity. Removable flip-up range caps and sunshade are included.

With Trijicon’s proven battlefield performance and uncompromising commitment to perfection, TARS will prove itself as a superior tactical riflescope for long-range marksmen.

Trijicon Introduces Innovative New ACOG Crossbow Optic

Wixom, MI – The family-owned company best known for supplying the U.S. military with the finest battle optics in the world is reconfirming its commitment to American sportsmen with its ACOG® Crossbow Scope. As more state game agencies recognize crossbows as legal arms for archery seasons, crossbow hunters now have a top-quality Trijicon scope for the ultimate in accuracy and precision shot placement.

The 3-power, 24 mm objective ACOG Crossbow Scope is modeled after the legendary ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) and includes features such as fully multi-coated optics, precise adjustments, Tritium-and-fiber-optic illuminated reticle, and unmatched, battle-proven durability. In addition, the Crossbow Scope contains a specially designed range-finding reticle calibrated for crossbow ballistics. Users choose one of three reticle models depending on their crossbow’s velocity.

Reticle XB1 accommodates speeds from 300-340 fps, XB2 from 340-400 fps, while XB3 accommodates speeds of 400-450. Once the proper model is chosen and zeroed so the glowing chevron is point-of-impact at 30 yards, shooters simply hold on the corresponding crosshair for pinpoint accuracy out to 80 yards in 5-yard increments.

The ACOG Crossbow Reticle utilizes the proprietary Bad River Outdoors® Ranging System. This unique and patented ranging system can help you find the distance to your quarry simply by placing the main crosshair on the rib cage/belly of an elk or deer. The distance will be quickly determined by viewing the location of the spine/back. The greatest advantage to this system is by holding the main crosshair in position on the rib cage/belly as your targeted animal moves, the hunter has the ability to observe the change of distance as the animal either approaches or descends away from your location. Then you simply use the corresponding aiming point to be consistently accurate.

Additionally, shooters can also determine ranges by using the wide stadia lines, which equal 18 inches (the average distance between a deer’s ears or the average width of an elk’s chest), at the corresponding range. Narrow stadia lines correspond to 2 inches (the diameter of the white circle around a whitetail’s eye) at the corresponding range.

The unit is mounted via a single Weaver-style base. A generous exit pupil of 8 mm and a wide field of view of 25.6 feet at 100 yards allow hunters to get on target quickly. It’s forged from T6 aluminum, weighs a scant 5.89 ounces and is waterproof to 100 meters. If that’s not enough, the ACOG Crossbow Scope is backed by Trijicon‘s superior warranty, so hunters can concentrate only on making the shot.
