Steve Austin Limited Edition Meopta Broken Skull Ranch Riflescope Now Shipping and Available Online

HAUPPAUGE, NY, July 8, 2013 – The long-awaited Meopta Broken Skull Ranch riflescope is now available at www.bsrscope.com.  Fans and hunters have been eagerly awaiting these limited edition scopes since their introduction at the NRA Annual Meeting and Exhibits in Houston, Texas in early May. This limited edition scope is the result of a partnership between pro wrestling hall of famer and action movie star, Steve Austin, and European-American optics manufacturer Meopta.

Austin, a lifelong hunter, worked closely with Meopta to create a customized special edition version of the Meopta MeoPro 4-12×50 riflescope which features Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch logo on the objective bell and his signature on the ocular. He joined the Meopta team at NRA in Houston to launch the scope.

“After the overwhelmingly positive reaction we received at NRA in Houston, we are excited to begin shipping the product to all the customers who preordered the scopes and to begin selling them on bsrscope.com,” said Reinhard Seipp, general manager and chief operating officer of Meopta USA.  “Steve shares our passion for hunting and the outdoors and knows that our optics are engineered not only for exceptional optical quality and low light performance, but extreme durability as well.  Clearly if Meopta optics are tough enough for Steve Austin, they are tough enough for anyone!”

Austin, a Texas native, first achieved fame as a professional wrestler under his ring name “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and has since appeared in numerous television shows and movies.   These days, he spends a great deal of time hunting on his property, the Broken Skull Ranch, in Tilden, Texas and is an avid Meopta fan.

“We had an incredible turnout at the Meopta booth during the NRA show, and I know my fans will love the Meopta MeoPro 4-12×50 riflescope as much as I do,” said Austin.  “Meopta makes incredible optics.  They are not only super bright and clear but rugged enough to withstand extreme hunting conditions.  I’m proud to partner with Meopta and deeply appreciative of the many fans who travelled great distances to join us for the unveiling of our new Broken Skull Ranch riflescope.”

The Meopta BSR Scope is available for order now at www.bsrscope.com. Customers who purchase the scope will receive a certificate of authentication signed by Austin and shipped with the riflescope as well as branded Broken Skull Ranch stickers.

Meopta USA Presents Redesigned MeoPix® iScoping Adapter™ for the iPhone 5

HAUPPAUGE, NY, January 11, 2013 – Meopta USA announces the latest version of its popular MeoPix® iScoping Adapter™ – the MeoPix 5. In 2012, the MeoPix set a new standard in the digiscoping market with its simple and affordable patent-pending solution for taking long-range photos and videos through binoculars and spotting scopes with the iPhone 4/4s. Meopta is now raising the bar with the introduction of the new MeoPix 5 for the iPhone 5.

The updated design, with its slim profile, slips easily into a shirt pocket, and the new removable and interchangeable eyecup interface allows the MeoPix to double as a sleek and durable stay-on-case between shots. The shift to an interchangeable modular eyecup allows the user to easily transition between different sized optics.

“The new MeoPix was inspired by the slim, clean lines of the iPhone 5,” says Reinhard Seipp, general manager and COO of Meopta USA. “We are thrilled by the success of last year’s MeoPix 4/4s and were determined to make this next version even better. We spent a lot of time in the field getting feedback from hunters, birders and photographers, and the result is the new MeoPix 5.  Whether documenting trophy bucks, identifying an elusive species, or simply capturing a professional grade photo, the MeoPix is truly a game changer and it’s only getting better.”

The new MeoPix 5 debuts at the 2013 SHOT SHOW and will be available for purchase shortly thereafter.

MSRP: $71.99
