All four of these models are available now through normal distribution and from www.crimsontrace.com starting at $269.

“By now, most consumers are savvy enough to know that green lasers have always been power-hungry compared to their red counterparts,” explained Kent Thomas, Director of Marketing for Crimson Trace. “By mounting them in front of the trigger guard, we’re able to utilize battery power in both a functional and design friendly way significantly more than ever – which means our customers never have to compromise on run tim e.” Just as important as the green laser product introduction, holsters from BladeTech, Mitch Rosen, De Santis, Crossbreed and Galco will be available to fit these new green laser sights.

The Laserguard platform is the ideal and ultimate additional to conceal carry firearms. The unit is quickly and easily installed by the user simply by securing around the trigger guard with provided screws. The profile for the pistol does change which is why Crimson Trace works with top holster manufacturers to create holster solutions for all Laserguard equipped firearms. Coming Soon: Beretta Nano Laserguard

Owners of Beretta’s popular micro 9mm will soon have the ideal low light sighting system for their pistols, Crimson Trace‘s Beretta Nano Laserguard®. Available September 1, the new laser will be obtainable from the company’s regular distribution network and from crimsontrace.com, with an MSRP of $219. The short sight radius of these excellent CCW pieces present aiming challenges, particularly under difficult lighting conditions found in most self defense encounters. The Laserguard addresses these issues and places a bright red dot on the target as soon as the user takes a firing grip on the pistol, due to its Instinctive Activation system.

The Laserguard platform is the ideal and ultimate additional to conceal carry firearms. The entire unit ads virtually no weight to the firearm and is quickly and easily installed by the user simply securing around the trigger guard with provided screws. The profile for the pistol does change which is why Crimson Trace works with top holster manufacturers to create holster solutions for all Laserguard equipped firearms. Check out the Holster Resource Guide for details on all models. Each Laserguard is pre sighted from the factory at 50′ and is fully adjustable by the user to fine tune it to their chosen self defense ammunition. Featuring the most powerful laser allowable by law, the unit offers an industry leading 2 hour run time on one, easily replaced 1/3N battery, which also qualifies for the Crimson Trace ‘Batteries for Life’ program.

All CTC products are proudly designed, engineered and made in their state of the art facility in Oregon. “The new Laserguard for the Beretta Nano represents the latest enhancement to the Crimson Trace product line and our commitment to providing our customers with the very best tools for their concealed carry firearms,” said Kent Thomas, Director of Marketing for Crimson Trace. “We’re looking forward to launching several more models this year to further enhance other compact handguns; this is proving to be another great year for Crimson Trace users.”

Crimson Trace Launches Rail Master™ Coyote Tan

(Wilsonville, OR) With the success of the Rail Master (http://www.crimsontrace.com/products/type/rail-master) laser and most recently the Rail Master LED Light, Crimson Trace moved to create these two popular items in a Coyote Tan finish. What is most impressive about this new offering is the finish – a highly durable and chemical resistant Cerakote™ coating. These two items will be available in early August 1st through their regular dealer network or direct from Crimson Trace website at an MSRP of $149 for the Rail Master laser and $159 for its light counterpart.

“This finish not only adds a custom look to the firearm, it also protects the product from chemicals and the environment,” said Kent Thomas, Direct of Marketing for Crimson Trace. “It is exactly what our customers expect from us, and it is exactly what we deliver.” Both products are still feature rich with their instant activation, Secure-Lock Technology™ and come standard with four inserts to ensure the widest range of firearm fits.

The Rail Master platform is the perfect addition to any firearm with a Picatinny rail. The universal fit with the included four inserts allows for a quick transfer from one gun to the next. With the Cerakote Coyote Tan finish, chemicals used for cleaning a firearm or environmental debris, the Rail Master is unharmed and continues to provide the longest lasting laser and brightest light on the market.

Crimson Trace Rail Master Universal Laser Sight

March 7, 2012
By
As originally seen in Gun Nuts Media.

Crimson Trace has released the Rail Master, a universal rail-mounted laser for pistols or rifles. The key word that makes the Rail Master awesome? Universal.

The little (and I do mean little, it weighs practically nothing) laser can be easily mounted on pretty much any rail, making it perfect for those who can’t get Laser Grips for their pistol or those who don’t want the bulk of the grips or the weight of a Laser Guard. For me? I think it would be awesome on a rifle rail.

The one down side of opting for something like the Rail Master over regular Crimson Trace Laser Grips is that the Rail Master is activated by a switch rather than the instinctive activation most of Crimson Trace’s products utilize. The switch is easy enough to use and fully ambidextrous; there’s a paddle on either side of the Rail Master that is pressed to turn the laser on, but it’s one more thing to think about in a high-stress situation. On the other hand, something Caleb pointed out, there are no light “NDs”, although in my mind if I’m drawing my gun I’m going to be shouting and trying to do anything I can to illuminate the area and a little bit of laser really isn’t going to hurt me any. I guess it depends on how tactical you are.

The Rail Master has over four hours of battery life, comes sighted from the factory at 50′ and weighs next to nothing. It fits a pistol, rifle or shotgun with a M1913 Picatinny or Weaver accessory rail. That means 1911s with rails, most 3rd Gen Glocks, 4th Gen Glock 17s and 19s, HK P30s, M&Ps, Sig P220, P226, P229, the Ruger SR series, Springfield XDs and XDMs and pretty much any other rail-equipped pistol.

Light, easy to use and can be mounted on just about anything. I need a minimum of 4.

Crimson Trace Debuts Industry’s First Instinctively Activated Green Handgun Lasers

Wilsonville, OR –In a move that caught much of the industry by surprise, Crimson Trace, the maker of the World’s only grip activated laser sights, unveiled its new line of green handgun lasers to a record crowd of over 70,000 consumers at the NRA Annual Convention in St. Louis last weekend. Boldly debuting six models in all significant platforms – Lasergrips®, Laserguard® and Universal Rail Master™ – scheduled to begin delivery to market in the Fall of 2012.

The first green lasers to hit the market will be in the Laserguard platform for Glock, Smith & Wesson M&P, Springfield XDm and 1911 frames and visually follow company’s award-winning Lightguard™ design. “By now, most consumers are savvy enough to know that green lasers have always been power-hungry compared to their red counterparts,” explained Kent Thomas, Director of Marketing for Crimson Trace. “By mounting them in front of the trigger guard, we’re able to utilize battery power in both a functional and design friendly way significantly more than ever – which means our customers never have to compromise on run time.” Also available in Fall 2012 will be the wildly popular Rail Master product, which is the company’s first Universal fit product for handguns with Picitinny Rails. Just as important as the green laser product introduction, holsters from BladeTech, De Santis, Crossbreed and Galco are available to fit these new green laser sights.

Creating the most buzz and excitement, however, were the sneak-peek prototypes of green Lasergrips®, scheduled to be available in early 2013. Green lasers have traditionally been much bulkier than red versions due to their more complex construction. Until now, this has prevented their use in the patented grip integrated lasers that made Crimson Trace the industry leader in laser sighting systems. Using an entirely new kind of laser, the company has managed to reduce the footprint of the diode package while simultaneously reducing the power it needs to function. “This new technology is a game changer,” said Thomas. “Next year, customers will be able to get the instinctive activation, innovative engineering and quality Crimson Trace is famous for, but with the option of green in a few of the most popular gun frames in the market. Once again, we’ve listened to the market, our loyal consumers and found a way to deliver what they want in only the way Crimson Trace can.”
