Cranston, Rhode Island – SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA, a subsidiary of the Austrian-based company, is proud to announce that their new ATX/STX Modular Spotting Scope has won the prestigious Editor’s Choice Award for spotting scopes from Outdoor Life.
This year is Outdoor Life’s 12th annual test of sporting optics, and is considered to be one of the most rigorous in the business. Optics are evaluated on objective, repeatable criteria, including a resolution and low-light test, as well as subjective consideration such as style, ergonomics, durability, perceived image, and field worthiness. The Editor’s Choice award is bestowed to the top overall finisher in each category (riflescopes, spotting scopes, mid-size binoculars, and full-size binoculars).
“SWAROVSKI OPTIK has raised the bar on nature observation with this modular spotting scope system featuring three interchangeable bodies and two eyepieces, one straight and the other angled. Testers’ loved SWAROVSKI OPTIK’S utility, its durability, its ease of use, and its optical precision.”
“Albert Wannenmacher, CEO of SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA said, “To have our new ATX/STX Modular Spotting Scope chosen as one of Outdoor Life magazine’s Editor’s Choice is an honor. When designing this spotting scope system, we were looking to create something that would be not only a winner, but also something that would change the world of spotting scopes as we know it. The flexibility of this system, due to its modular design, and coupled with SWAROVISION technology, which gives it the utmost optical quality, has clearly made its mark on the industry, as proven by this award.”
The Editor’s Choice Award, and the rest of the Guns and Optics test results, will appear in the June/July double issue of Outdoor Life.
