|Each year, Bowhunt America magazine asks its readership to cast their votes on the best bowhunting and archery equipment on the market. After this year’s votes were tallied, Nikon was awarded two Gear of the Year awards: a Gold for Bowhunting Binoculars and a Gold for Best Individual Rangefinder.
“There’s no class of hunters more particular about their equipment than bowhunters. At Nikon, we strive to deliver bowhunting optics that exceed the high expectations of archers and it is with great pride that we accept this recognition from Bowhunt America and its readers,” said Jon LaCorte, senior product marketing manager at Nikon Sport Optics.
Nikon won the Gold in the Bowhunting Binoculars category for an impressive 2012 lineup that featured the new MONARCH 7. Built with ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass with roof prisms that are phase-correction-coated, the MONARCH 7 has a state-of-the-art optical system that surpasses any other binocular in its price range.
Nikon’s Archer’s Choice rangefinder took home a Gold for the Best Individual Rangefinder. The Archer’s Choice was engineered with the help of Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo of “Archer’s Choice” for real world bowhunting situations. It uses Nikon’s ID (Incline/Decline) Technology to compensate for even the toughest shooting angles and has the pinpoint accuracy that serious bowhunters demand.
