Morgan, UT—Browning continues to expand its diverse line of knives for the avid outdoorsman and demanding hunter with new Hard Core Hunter Series for 2010

The Hard Core Hunter Combos were designed by famous knife maker, Russ Kommer. They give hunters the ultimate three-piece hunting set with two sizes of fixed blade knives and a saw.

The 4 3/4” hand saw features a comfortable handle design that minimizes hand fatigue. The push/pull design of the high carbon steel blade makes fast work of sawing wood or dressing game.

The larger knife has a 3 ½” drop point main blade. The unique handle shape with Browning’s Dura-Touch® Armor Coating gives the user complete comfort and control.

The small caping knife offers the precision for delicate field chores with its 2 3/8” blade.

All blades are German X50CrMoV15 steel. A nylon sheath is supplied that easily holds all three pieces. Available with black handles and black sheath, the Hard Core Hunter combo has a suggested retail price of $69.95.

The combo is also available with a Mossy Oak New Break-up camo handle and sheath with a suggested retail of $79.95.

Both kits feature different grits of sharpening stones which will allow knife users, enthusiasts and sportsmen to put a razor edge on all of their various knives. With our patented honing guides you can choose what angle that you wish to sharpen your knives with, and then have guaranteed repeatability during the sharpening process.

Both sharpening kits come in a durable pocketed canvas tote designed for easy convenient roll up and storage.

Morgan, UT—Browning has introduced its new Backcountry Camp Knife and line of new Camp Saws. These new products give the serious outdoorsman the tools they need handle all kinds of chores in camp from chopping or sawing limbs for a fire, clearing brush to making space for a tent.

Backcountry Camp Knife. Browning’s new Backcountry Camp Knife is a handy addition to any outdoorsman’s pack. This fixed blade knife is constructed of Sandvik® 12C27 stainless steel in 6 ½” length. The handle is made of attractive brown linen Micarta® for a durable, attractive appearance. A top-grain leather sheath is supplied with outside pocket that holds a sharpening stone. New Folding Camp Saws. Browning’s new Camp Saws are designed by knife designer Russ Kommer and are unmatched in comfort in handling and features. The handle on the Browning Camp Saws is grooved and has a large tail radius to ensure a rock solid grip and comfort in hand. Handles are injection molded composite with rubber inlay. The high-carbon stainless steel push/pull blade maximizes cutting efficiency on both wood and when dressing game. Blades are made of 4116 stainless steel in 5 ¾” lengths. A unique sheath is supplied that can be worn in both horizontal and vertical positions.

Browning Introduces Model 11 Folding Knives

Browning Introduces Model 11 Folding KnivesMorgan, UT-Browning’s new Model 111 Folding Knives are designed by Russ Kommer and packed with practical features. Kommer took an old design and added his expertise in knife design to make them even more user friendly.

The knives are designed with grooved handles that are constructed from either rugged G-10 or walnut. Handles on the knives are contoured for a comfortable, sure grip. The bolsters add to the beauty and balance of the knives.

Each 3 ¼” blade is made of Sandvik® 12C27 stainless steel. The blades are easy to sharpen and hold an excellent edge. A Browning Buckmark logo is etched into each blade for a unique look only to a Browning knife.

The ultra-thin construction of the Browning 111 knives allow them to slide easily into a pocket without adding excess bulk.

The Model 111D with black G-10 scales has a suggested retail price of $34.95. The Model 111C with walnut scales has a suggested retail price of $39.95.
