Colt Adds Crimson Trace Laser Grips to New Agent Pistol

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC has teamed up with Crimson Trace Corporation for the first ever Lasergrips®, grip-integrated laser sight emblazoned with the Colt® logo, which is now standard on the Colt New Agent® pistol. This compact, lightweight Colt 1911 series pistol with wrap-around, front activation laser sight, gives shooters increased accuracy and confidence in their shot placement.

“The Colt New Agent is an excellent choice for a concealable pistol for personal protection,” said Joyce Rubino, Colt’s Vice President of Marketing, “With the addition of Crimson Trace® laser sights, New Agent shooters can be increasingly confident that their shots will hit the mark.”

The upgraded New Agent model 1911 weighs less than 24 ounces and measures 6.75 inches in length. While possessing the power and protection of a full sized pistol, this compact model is a great option for concealed carry. Colt’s New Agent offers a seven-round magazine capacity in .45 ACP and an eight-round magazine capacity in 9 mm Parabellum.

The carbon steel slide is finished in matte blue and the lightweight alloy frame is black anodized. The New Agent’s trigger is skeletonized aluminum with a 3-inch bushingless barrel.

The New Agent’s traditional double diamond grips have been replaced with black, wrap-around Crimson Trace grips made of a polymer and rubber combination. With the Crimson Trace laser sight and trench style sighting system in lieu of iron sights, the New Agent has a snagless draw, adding to the capability of this pistol.

Highly visible at self-defense distances, the red laser comes factory-zeroed at 50 feet. The unit may be fine tuned by the user for their choice of ammunition, via integral windage and elevation adjustments. When the pistol is held with a natural firing grip, the instinctive, front-activation laser is initiated.

Crimson Trace Launches The Rail Master Laser

With an MSRP of $149, the innovative laser sight sets new standards for durability, battery life and quality. Featuring a tap on / tap off switch, the compact unit comes with four interchangeable inserts which utilize Secure-Lock Technology™ to enable a custom fit to any handgun, enabling the user to adjust the sight’s location on the rail to optimize activation.

New Crimson Trace Lasergrips for GLOCK Gen 4 Handguns

These Lasergrips feature the smallest laser diode ever offered, with full windage and elevation adjustability and a master on/off switch. The new units fit seamlessly over the Glock’s backstrap and require no gunsmithing to install. Because the laser utilizes Crimson Trace’s patented instinctive activation system, the user simply picks up the gun in a normal firing grip and the pressure sensor in the grip module instantly activates the laser to project a bright dot on the target.

Crimson Trace Launches Bold New Website

(Wilsonville, OR) Crimson Trace today announced the launch of its brand new web presence, with more consumer-driven features than ever before. The new site is packed with state of the art functionality, allowing visitors to create wish lists, submit product reviews, shop for Lasergrips™ and interact with social media.

In addition, the site was redesigned for greatly enhanced navigation, greatly reducing clicks and effort for the consumer to find information, videos, reviews, specifications, etc with just a single click. Adding to the consumer friendly experience, a Dealer Locator has been built in that utilizes easy to use Google Maps that will help find over 2000 Crimson Trace dealers and ranges.

Crimson Trace Announces New Lightguard Tactical Lights for GLOCK, XD(M) and M&P Pistols

(Wilsonville, OR) Crimson Trace today released their revolutionary Lightguard platform for Glock, Smith & Wesson and Springfield handguns, marking their long-awaited entry to the white light category for personal defense. Engineered to fit seamlessly to the weapon, Lightguard gives the user a sleek, concealable white light that adds zero width and less than 1.2oz to the handgun’s all-up weight.
