ROCHESTER, New York- CenterPoint® Hunting and Outdoors, a division of Crosman® Corporation, a leading supplier of products for the shooting sports has introduced a new, patent-pending Laser Boresighter.
Sara Calcagno, CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoor’s precision optics product manager says the new CenterPoint Laser Boresighter will save shooters time and money. “While most shooters use more than one box of ammo to sight in their scopes and open sights, it’s not required with the Laser Boresighter. The laser is sent out from inside the barrel and aims in exactly the same trajectory that the ammunition exits the barrel. This allows the shooter to precisely sight-in without having to use as much ammo,” said Calcagno.
The battery-powered CenterPoint Laser Boresighter works on handguns, rifles and shotguns, and has fittings for all calibers from a .17 all the way up to a .50 caliber, as well as 12, 16 and 20 gauge shotguns. According to Calcagno, “Shooters can sight in their scopes or open sights on many types of guns within a couple inches of zero with one CenterPoint Laser Boresighter. It solves the time consuming problem of sighting in and gives shooters and hunters more time in the field,” she said.
The CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors Laser Boresighter has an MSRP of $59.50 and is available now. CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors will exhibit its entire product line during SHOT Show 2011 in Las Vegas from January 18-21. Visit booth number 12740.
