LaserLyte Introduces the Ruger LC9 Side Mount Laser

COTTONWOOD, AZ (January 2012) – LaserLyte® builds on the success of the LaserLyte Ruger LCP Side Mount Laser (CK-AMF), made available earlier this year, by introducing the CK-AMF9 for the Ruger LC9. Made just as streamlined and programmable as the CK-AMF version, yet slightly larger, the CK-AMF9 design fits not only the Ruger LC9 but the Kel-Tec PF9 pistol, as well.

It is easy to mount on the gun by simply pushing out and replacing the stock frame pins with the new threaded pins (included). Mount the CK-AMF9 to these pins with the included screw. Swarovski Optic Introduces Custom Ballistic Turret

Cranston, Rhode Island – SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA, a subsidiary of the Austrian-based company, announces the Custom Ballistic Turret for all of their BT scopes.

The Custom Ballistic Turret (BT) allows the hunter to have a pre-determined zero and set of down range distances engraved on the turret. Once set up, you simply turn the turret to the appropriate down range distance, so you can hold the crosshair precisely where you want the bullet to hit. To get back to your zero setting, simply turn the turret back where it will automatically stop at your pre-set zero setting. The shooter will still have to accurately determine distance to the target (as with a laser range finder), and account for wind when necessary.

Trijicon Goes Long-Range With TARS Riflescope

Leica Introduces Integrated Ballistics System (IBS) for ER Riflescopes

Leica‘s optical experts have joined forces with G7′s ballistics experts to develop the Integrated Ballistic System (IBS ) reticle. This multi-purpose reticle allows the hunter to use the ballistic drop reticle or the center aiming point in conjunction with a custom ballistic turret that has been calibrated in yards.

The hold-over aiming points provide the shooter with aim points out to approximately 500 yards, depending on the cartridge and bullet used. The reticle’s windage hash marks assist the shooter in compensating for the wind.

The G-7-powered IBS Ballistic Calculator lets the shooter calculate and print out the distance for each hold-over dot or hash mark for his or her rifle and cartridge. The shooter enters the ballistic information of the cartridge into the calculator, or the factory cartridge specifications are selected; then the user can print a field-carry hold-over chart for that specific load.

A custom ballistic turret, which can be ordered from G7, allows the shooter to adjust the vertical turret to match the distance to the target, then hold right on to complete the shot.

The new IBS System provides shooters with maximum flexibility and ease of use for ultimate in long-range performance, whether using a bullet-drop compensating turret or reticle. The IBS reticle will be available in both Leica’s 2.5-10×42 and 3.5-14×42 ER riflescope models either with or without target turrets (elevation only).

Aimpoint Announce 2 MOA Micro T-1

Aimpoint, the originator and world leader in electronic red dot sighting technology, has announced the addition of a 2 MOA Micro T-1 and Micro H-1 sights to the company’s product line. These new 2 MOA versions are available immediately, and will be offered alongside the current Micro series sights including the 4 MOA Micro T-1 and Micro H-1.

Since its introduction in 2007, the Aimpoint Micro T-1 has become the worldwide standard for compact reflex sights for professional use.
